REACTION BLOCKS: ROBBINS SCIENTIFIC

Robbins Scientific offers its FlexChem® Synthesis line for solid phase synthesis. This line includes disposable polypropylene-fritted and new recyclable teflon®-made 48- and 96-well FlexChem® reactor blocks, a vacuum manifold, a rotating oven for up to 4 FlexChem® reactor blocks, and a Hydra©-96 microdispenser. 

The FlexChem® system can use polypropylene-fritted FlexChem® 96-well reaction block and the new FlexChem®48-well reaction block. These FlexChem® reaction blocks come already with frits in all the wells and they are disposable. For more information on the FlexChem® reaction blocks click here.

The new FlexChem® Teflon® reactor blocks allow the use of temperatures higher than 100 °C. These reactor blocks are reusable and must be loaded manually with teflon®-made frits. For more information click here.

Robbins Scientific also offers new tools to load and to replace frits for both FlexChem® Teflon® reactor blocks. This process includes: 1) push out 8 frits at a time, 2) accommodate new frits on a frit insertion plate, 3) place inverted a FlexChem® Teflon® reactor on the frit insertion plate, 4) in an upright position push in 8 frits at a time. Robbins Scientific now offers 2 new types of resin loaders: the FlexChem® Flip and the FlexChem® Trap Door. These resin loaders consists of a flat, anodized aluminum plate with 96 depressions (8 x 12 array) to accommodate and deliver resin into the wells in the FlexChem® 96-well reactor block. These resin loaders are available in 4 different depression-sizes to deliver 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, and 100 mg of silica. (Note: For actual resin delivery it is recommended to load one hole with the resin to use, collect the resin and determine how much resin is actually hold and delivered). Robbins Scientific offers 2 type of FlexChem® Vacuum Manifolds that are compatible with the Hydra©-96 microdispenser. The FlexChem® Solvent Removal Manifold is a small, lightweight anodized aluminum manifold for the solvents and reagents from the FlexChem® reactor blocks. The FlexChem® Cleavage Manifold is a 2-piece unit that accommodates a deep well or standard microplate inside the manifold for compound collection. Robbins Scientific has just introduced its new FlexChem® General Purpose Rotator. This new hard-anodized aluminum-based rotating platform has threaded holes to accommodate springs and clams (available in several sizes) to secure reaction vessels (flasks, tubes, etc.). The FlexChem® General Purpose Rotator is 100% compatible with the FlexChem® Rotating Oven Model 404 and also with the new FlexChem® Model 202 Ambient Rotator. FlexChem® General Purpose Rotator

Robbins Scientific has just also introduced its new FlexChem® Model 202 Ambient Rotator. This new rotator, designed for room-temperature use, can accommodate the FlexChem® Reaction Blocks and also the new FlexChem® General Purpose Rotator.
