Prolab Instruments offers its IR-Dancer evaporator for high-throughput applications.

The IR-Dancer is an infrared vortex high vacuum evaporator that accommodates a rack that holds up to 3 96-well plates (other racks are available). The IR-Dancer uses 3 infrared lamps for sample heating (up to 120 °C). The high efficiency of the IR-Dancer is based on the vortex agitation, which increases the surface area of the solvent, and the lack of centrifugal forces on vapors, factors that are involved in centrifugal evaporation.
