MICROREACTORS:
IRORI
IRORI,
a subsidiary of Discovery
Partners International Inc. (DPII),
offers its radio-frequency tagged prodcut line for combinatorial
synthesis in drug discovery.
| IRORI
offers its AccuTag-100
Sorting Station. The AccuTag-100 comes with
proprietary software, a tag reader, cables with light indicators
to aid during the sorting process, radiofrequency tags, and
MicroKans. |
 |
 |
In
order to isolate discrete compounds in a 96-well plate format,
IRORI offers its AccuCleave
product line. The AccuCleave-96
Cleavage Station for the sumultaneous cleavage of 96 compounds,
the AccuCleave-48
Cleavage Station for cleavage of up to 48 compounds. |
| For
higher cleavage throughput IRORI also has the AccuCleave-192
Cleavage Station. This new cleavage station is based on the
AccuCleave-96 design but with double capacity to cleave
192 microreactors simultaneously. Cleaved products can be collected
into 2.4 ml Marsh Tubes or 96 deep-well square plates. (Note:
IRORI recommends the use of the AccuCleave-192 only
with MicroKans). |
 |
IRORI's
product line also includes: MultiTag-96 Tag Dropper, MicroKan Filling
Kit, MultiCap-96 Capping Station, LED Sorting Indicator. For more
information on these accessories click
here.
| And
there is also the 3 kind of IRORI reactors: MicroKan,
MiniKan, and MacroKan. (Note: Bohdan's
MiniBlocks offer the capability of accommodating IRORI's
Microkans. For more information on the Bohdan MiniBlocks
click
here). |
 |
 |
IRORI
also has an automated sorter: the AutoSort-10K.
This automated equipment sorts 1,000 microreactors per hour
and accommodates up to 10,000 microreactors. The AutoSort-10K
can also sort microreactors into the AccuCleave-96 Cleavage
Station. |
IRORI
also offers the new AutoSort-10KX. The new AutoSort-10Kx
can now sort automatically IRORI's microreactors directly into Bohdan
MiniBlocks. For more information
on the AutoSort-10Kx contact IRORI directly.
AutoSort-10KX.
To
aid in the post-reaction steps, IRORI has its AutoWash-10K
Automated Microreactor Washing Station. This new PC-controlled
washing station handles up to 10,000 MicroKans, it handles
and delivers up to 3 different solvents, and it can separate
chlorinated and non-chlorinated liquid waste.
AutoWash-10K
IRORI
also has available the KanWash-1K
Microreactor Washer. This system is design to accommodate up to
1,000 MicroKan or 500 MiniKan reactors which can be wahsed using
up to 6 different solvents.

IRORI
has available its new Dry Resin Filler. This unit consists
of a shaker with a welded flat anodized aluminum plate
to accommodate pre-formatted arrays of MicroKan and
MiniKan reactors. IRORI offers 3 different 96-well anodized
aluminum tops, each type with different hole dimensions to
accommodate reproducible amounts of dry loose resin per well.
Since the resin loader is welded on a shaker, shaking the
resin poured on the resin loader ensures homogenous resin
distribution per well prior to resin delivery.

|
IRORI
has now available its new NanoKan system. The
new NanoKans use a disposable 2D barcode system, hold
about 8 mg of resin and afford approximately 1 mg of final
product after compound cleavage. The picture on the left displays
the new 2D barcode system and the size of the NanoKans
compared to a dime.

IRORI
has a page for Tips and Hints for IRORI users.
