MicroSYNTH
Labstation
|
For
for microwave organic synthesis Milestone has available
the Ethos MicroSYNTH Labstation.
This
system provides the platform for different R&D sysnthesis
projects, it can accommodate reaction vessels from 250 µL
to 1.2 liters, provides stirring, and monitors the temperature
and pressure of individual reaction vessels.

For
combinatorial chemistry applications Milestone offers
the combiCHEM reactor system. This system, designed
to work with the Ethos MicroSYNTH Labstation, can accommodate
glass vials in Milestone's proprietary microwave absorbing
Weflon-made (Weflon = carbon-impregnated Teflon) multi-well
plates (96, 48, or 24 formats), can stack the Weflon plates
for higher throughput, rotates to allow homogeneous sample
irradiation and sample mixing, and it can control reaction
temperatures up to 150°C.

For
parallel synthesis Milestone has available rotors in different
array formats:
- The
PRO-6 rotor. This rotor can accommodate up to 6 12-mL or 50-mL
glass or quartz
reaction vessels to carry reactions up to 180 °C and a pressure
of up to 15 bar (225 psi).
- The
PRO-16 rotor. This rotor can accommodate 16 or 24 70-mL
glass or quartz
reaction vessels to carry reactions up to 200 °C and a pressure
of up to 20 bar (290 psi).
- The
High-Pressure 100 mL rotor. This rotor can accommodate
10 100-mL glass or quartz
reaction vessels to carry reactions up to 300 °C and a pressure
of up to 100 bar (1500 psi).

Med
Chem Kits
|
To
minimize bottlenecks in the labs, Milestone also offers Med
Chem Kits which include 12-mL, 50-mL, 100-mL, and 270-mL
reaction vessels and sample processing tools to cary out individual
reactions to be worked up conveniently at the medchem's workbench.

For
scale-up synthesis Milestone offers the MRS Batch Reactors.
These reactors can operate with fused silica or ceramic closed-vessels,
with reaction volumes up to 380-mL, capable of carrying out
reactions up to 200 °C and pressures up to 14 bar (203
psi).
