Applied Biosystems/MDS SCIEX (AB/MDS SCIEX), formerly PE SCIEX and now a subsidiary of Applied Biosystems Group, offers its API 150EX™ Prep LC/MS System for high throughput compound characterization and purification in drug discovery.

The API 150EX™ Prep LC/MS System, which is operated from a Macintosh Workstation, can operate with the Gilson 215 autosampler in analytical and semipreparative mode using Shimadzu and/or Gilson LC equipment for high-throughput automated purification applications. This system uses the API 150EX™ single quadrupole MS system for molecular mass detection.
