HIGH-THROUGHPUT PURIFICATION SYSTEMS: BIOTAGE

Biotage, a division of Pyrosequencing AB, has a broad variety of purification systems.

The Quad3™ Parallel FLASH Purification System runs up to 12 disposable pre-packed QuadFLASH12M cartridges per cycle, and it comes with The Quad3 FLASH Fraction Collector™. The Quad3 FLASH collector™ can accommodate 13 mm, 16 mm, and 25 mm test tubes as well as microtiter plates.

The Quad4/40™ Parallel Purification System system is a manifold that can hold up to 8 cartridges in parallel. The Quad4/40™ can be used in conjunction with the Quad3™ system. For more information on the Quad4/40™ click here.

The MultElute™ System can accommodate up to 12 cartridges to purify samples in the 2mg to 7grams range. This systems comes with a 12-channel fraction collector that holds test tubes or microtiter plates for parallel collection. For more information on the MultElute™ system click here.

The Parallex™ HPLC is a multichannel HPLC system that can purify up to 4 samples (up to 200 mg/sample) in parallel per cycle.  This system comes with 4 independent HPLC columns and 4 independent fraction collectors each one holding up to 8 deep-well plates for fraction collection. Fraction collection is UV triggered. For more information on the Parallex™ HPLC system click here.

The new Parallex Flex™ system is a scalable modular version of the Parallex™ HPLC. The Parallex Flex™ system allows the initial use of 1 HPLC column and 1 UV-triggered fraction collector holding up to 8 deep-well plates per  fraction collection. The Parallex Flex™ system can be expanded and upgraded to a Parallex™ HPLC system (4 HPLCs with 4 fraction collectors). For more information on the Parallex Flex system click here.

Biotage includes the windows-based Parallex Explorer sample tracking software for both Parallex™ and  Parallex Flex™ systems. For more information on the Parallex Explorer features click here.
