Varian Inc. has available its PrepStar™ line of preparative HPLC systems for sample purification in the mg-Kg quantity range.

• PrepStar™ 25: A system with a flow range of 0.025 to 25 mL/min holding up to 6000 psi (410 bar) of max. pressure.
• PrepStar™ 50: A system with a flow range of 0.05 to 50 mL/min holding up to 4000 psi (275 bar) of max. pressure.
• PrepStar™ 100: A system with a flow range of 0.1 to 100 mL/min holding up to 2000 psi (137 bar) of max. pressure.
• PrepStar™ 200: A system with a flow range of 0.1 to 200 mL/min holding up to 6000 psi (410 bar) of max. pressure.
• PrepStar™ 500: A system with a flow range of 0.01 to 500 mL/min holding up to 2500 psi (172 bar) of max. pressure.
• PrepStar™ 800: A system with a flow range of 0.01 to 800 mL/min holding up to 1500 psi (103 bar) of max. pressure.
• PrepStar™ Pilot: A system with a flow range of 1.0 to 3.2 mL/min holding up to 375 psi (25 bar) of max. pressure.
• PrepStar™ 218: A system with a flow range up to 200 mL/min holding up to 4000 psi (275 bar) of max. pressure. This system will be available in early July 2001.
