WORKSTATIONS: CHEMSPEED

Chemspeed offers its line of Manual Synthesis Workstations (MSW 500) and Automated Synthesis Workstations (ASW 1000 and ASW 2000). These workstation are based on a Gilson XL233 sample processor platform which can hold up to 6 syringes for liquid handling. The ASW can deliver reagents while shaking (up to1,400 rpms), heating and cooling (-70 °C to 150 °C). These workstations also allow the following on-line processes: solvent evaporation, filtration, TLC to spot up to 32 reactions, and Rheodyne valves to interface with HPLC or HPLC/MS systems. All these workstations also have an output to 96 deep-well plates.

MSW 500 system

In addition to the above features, the MSW 500 system comes with a hood and trolley, can take up to 7 Chemspeed's reaction blocks to run up to 112 reactions in parallel with an option to go up to 144 runs/cycle, capable of handling both slurries and suspensions, and can accommodate a 160-vial rack (8 ml septa sealed) for reagent storage (other customized racks are available).

The MSW 500 can be fully upgraded to the ASW 1000 and ASW 2000. For more information the MSW 500 station click here.

The ASW 1000 system is a fully automated system for unattended parallel synthesis, reagent preparation, product analysis and purification. The ASW 1000 shares all the capabilities and features available with the MSW 500 with the difference that it accommodates ChemSpeed's reaction blocks to run up to 80 reactions in parallel with an option to go up to 112 runs/cycle and can perform liquid-liquid and solid-phase extractions.

The ASW 1000 can be upgraded to an ASW 2000 workstation. For more information on the ASW 1000 click here.

ASW 2000 system

The The ASW 2000 system offers all the capabilites and features found in the ASW 1000 with the addition of incorporating a hood and trolley.

Chemspeed offers a 2 x 8 reaction blocks which take 13 ml, 27 ml, 75 ml, and 100 ml glass-made vessels for both solution and solid phase synthesis. These reactors allow heating and cooling (-70 °C to 150 °C) and the use of inert gas for refluxing and parallel filtration procedures.
