WORKSTATIONS: RADLEYS DISCOVERY TECHNOLOGIES

Radleys has a line of workstations for parallel synthesis applications.

The Carousel Reaction Station consists of a circular reaction station that sits on a magnetic stirring hot plate and it is available in 3 models: 1) One model comes in a teflon®-made 12-vessel tray, 2) another model comes in a teflon®-made 40-vessel tray, and 3) another model comes in an aluminum-made 12-vessel tray for heating conditions (up to 160 °C). Radleys also offers its GreenHouse 24 parallel synthesizer. Similar to the Carousel Reaction Station, this synthesizer is based on a magnetic stirring hot plate with the capacity of accommodating a 24-vessel tray for higher throughput with cooling capabilities. To cover a broader range or reaction types, Radleys offers the Cooled Carousel for low temperature applications. The Cooled Carousel acommodates up to 12 reaction vessels to carry out solution or solid-phase reactions in parallel from room temperature down to -70°C. For larger scale parallel synthesis Radleys provides the Metz 6 station. The Metz 6 station accomodates up to 6 150-ml reaction vessels, each one can be stirred magnetically from 400 rmp to 1200 rpm, can be operated from +5°C to 150°C, and the the reactors' configuration allows the flow of gases for intert atomsphere conditions. Radleys has now available the new Carousel PTFE Gas-Tight Threaded Cap. This new PTFE-stainless steel valve is solvent resistant, easy to operate and compatible with the Carousel Reaction Station, Cooled Reaction Station and the Metz Syn10 Variable Reaction Station.

Radleys' Metz line includes its Metz 10 economy system. This system can acommodate up to 10 reaction vessels (16 mm, 20 mm, 24 mm, and 25 mm diameter reaction tubes). The tubes can be stirred magnetically from 400 rmp to 2000 rpm, can be operated from +5°C to 150°C, with a 40mm-deep well module. For more information on the Metz 10 economy system (PDF) click here.
