WORKSTATIONS: SPYDER INSTRUMENTS

Spyder Instruments offers its innovative line of COMPAS synthesizers.

The COMPAS 768 is based on a novel technique: The use of 9-degree tilted centrifugation for solvent removal. This technique works with several variable-well-shape plates without cross-contamination issues. The COMPAS 768 can accommodate up to 8 plates for a maximum throughput of 768 compounds per run (768 compounds using 1 mg/well, 192 compounds using 25 mg/well). (Note: Spyder Inst. has slides stating that 3072 compounds can be synthesized using 0.1 mg/well, or 357,760 compounds using 0.5 mg/well).

This systems comes with a 4-channel Multiprobe 104 liquid handler station for solvent and resin handling, a needle washing station, a 96-channel distribution station, reservoir for reagent, and inert atmosphere.

Spyder Instruments also has the COMPAS 242 peptide synthesizer. For more information click here.

Spyder Instruments also offers an HF chamber for parallel compound cleavage. For more information on this HF chamber click here.
