Accelab GmbH offers its science, robotics and IT expertise in lab and automation technology.

In order to increase throughput in R&D, accelab offers automation platforms,  workstations and engineering services to support and automate parallel tasks in research areas such as combinatorial chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biotechnology and material science.

The basis for accelab´s customized lab automation solutions are the GANTRY Robot Platforms and SCARA Platforms, which provide the automation infrastructure for application modules.

Accelab provides its arcosyn98 chemistry workstation for combinatorial chemistry (solid-phase and solution-phase). The arcosyn98 workstation, which uses SCARA robotics and a SCARA platform (1.80 x 2.60 m) is  controlled by a single pc running Microsoft's Windows NT 4.0.

The arcosyn98 chemistry workstation, which accommodates 20 5-ml reaction vessels per block, aids in the automation of solid-phase organic parallel synthesis.

Accelab's automation platforms allow the use modules to run applications such as:

• Heating and cooling (standard -30° to +120°C which under preliminary temperature cycles can perform between  -80° to +150°C).
• Inert gas delivery.
• Non-destructive agitation (magnetic and vortexing).

For biotechnologies applications, accelab platforms allow the use of automated incubators, incubator-shaking, microtiterplate washers and photometers.
