Microarraying products feature at MipTec 2003 … At the 6th MipTec, International Conference and Exhibition on Drug Discovery to be held in Basel Switzerland from 12th -15th May 2003, Genetix Ltd. will showcase a series of its latest products. On stand B26 Genetix will introduce and have available for demonstration the QArraymini spotter and aQuire scanner systems. The QArraymini is a compact system with capacity for 54 slides and 5 source plates and is ideal for space limited laboratories. The combination of 1 µm drive resolution, high precision plate bed design and minimal moving parts ensure the accuracy, reproducibility and reliability of microarray printing on the QArraymini. This combined with the novel High Precision Low Friction Head (HPLF) 48 pin printing head ensures exceptional array regularity and high speed printing of slides. The aQuire scanner has as standard dual filters and lasers for both simultaneous acquisition of Cy3 and Cy5 dyes and a range of additional dyes. This upgradeable system is a fast accurate scanning system with many unique features for high quality microarray imaging.
