The most important factor in ATR analysis is contact between the sample and the infrared reflection element. With this powerful, integrated imaging and analysis system you see your sample through the DiComp™ sensor, ensuring both its accurate placement on, and consistent contact with, the diamond ATR element's surface. The result is unsurpassed measurement accuracy and repeatability from a technological advance that gives you complete confidence in your FT-IR analysis. The DuraScope is truly a breakthrough tool that simplifies your analytical methods. Compatible with all commercial FT-IR systems the benefits of the DuraScope are available to everyone. A choice of Diamond ATR elements with single or multi-reflection capability provide the sensitivity for high-performance analysis of demanding sample types including hard materials, abrasives, corrosives, gels and pastes even using a standard dTGS detector. Operation to 650 cm-1 is provided with optional ZnSe and to 230 cm-1 with optional KRS-5 DiComp sensors (limited only by spectrometer configuration). The
small sample area of the diamond Infrared reflection element means
very small volumes are required for analysis and assures consistent
sample contact with the crystal. With the integrated, easy-to-use
sample compression device and electronic LED pressure gauge, the
DuraScope is easily customised to best address sample-handling requirements
across a broad range of sample types. The DuraScope provides all
these features in a durable, easy-to-use device.
