San Diego, CA, August 13, 2003 - SciTegic® today announced the licensing of their lead technology, Pipeline Pilot(TM), to Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BIPI). BIPI is initially using Pipeline Pilot to optimize their compound acquisitions. Pipeline Pilot allows researchers to capture and automate their data processing and analysis objectives in a graphical data pipelining environment. Specific cheminformatics capabilities like activity modeling, compound enumeration, and others are also present in the package purchased by BIPI.
