Temperature control benefits chromatographic performance … ESA Analytical, a leading supplier of advanced separations, detection and analysis systems, has announced a new upgrade to its high performance CouloChem III HPLC electrochemical detector. The new temperature controlled Integrated Organiser module for the CouloChem III is designed to save bench space and provide a protected, temperature-stabilised environment for columns and cells. The result is a highly reproducible, leading-edge chromatographic performance. Electrochemical detection is the acknowledged standard for highly sensitive and selective detection in HPLC. To readily quantify picogram to femtogram levels of oxidisable or reducible compounds in a sample, the CouloChem III is the HPLC detector of choice. The Coulochem III detector represents a significant advance in highly selective and sensitive chromatographic detection. Uniquely versatile, the Coulochem III detector is the only EC detector providing amperometric, coulometric, redox, screen, pulse, and scan mode operation. Unlike other HPLC-EC detectors, the Coulochem III incorporates DC and pulse/scan modes in discrete modules for maximum performance. Expanded gain ranges make it ready for any cell type.
