Innovation
saves valuable bench space
Genevac,
specialists in advanced evaporator technology, have announced a
new heated condenser inlet pipe for its Series II Model HT-8 and
HT-12 Centrifugal Evaporator systems.

Where
bench space is at a premium the Genevac heated condenser inlet pipe
(maximum length 1.5m) usefully enables the evaporator condenser
unit to be placed on a shelf underneath the bench. All that is required
to use the new accessory is sufficient space for the connections
on the top of the condenser and the drainpipe below the condenser
for draining away waste solvents.
Genevac's
HT-8 and HT-12 systems are ideal for use in compound purification,
plate re-formatting, and plate replication. The recently introduced
Series II Models have been re-engineered to improve performance,
enhance ease of use and minimise cost of ownership. Proprietary
control software allows the Series II HT-8 and HT-12 to automatically
detect when the samples are dry and then shutdown - safeguarding
valuable samples from potential thermal degradation. The Series
II models also boast new mechanics and electronics that minimise
operational downtime and the need for routine maintenance.
