The Mat Capper from Porvair Sciences is a compact and portable instrument for capping of microplates with sealing mats.

Requiring only one operation of the system to seal a plate the Mat Capper greatly reduces the time required for this mundane operation. Using a versatile shuttle table the Mat Capper produces an accurate and tight seal on a wide range of both deep and shallow well microplates. An anti-slip base prevents movement while in use.

The Mat Capper enhances sample integrity and operational throughput through use of a special APP (across plate pressure) system ensuring perfect plate sealing time after time. For laboratories having to hand seal large quantities of microplates the Mat Capper offers an affordable solution that removes the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).

Porvair Sciences also offers a range of Silicone, EVA and Santoprene sealing mats providing high integrity retention of liquids in microplates. Both piercable and repiercable versions are available.
