life sciences research market that will be critical in helping our
company expand and dominate the market for cell-based research tools,"
said Paul Kinnon, vice president of sales and marketing for Guava
Technologies.
"Guava's
novel and accessible micro-volume benchtop technology makes the
company very well suited to benefit from the rapid growth of the
cell analysis market," said Kevin McCormack. "Guava's
technology has the ability to improve the productivity of the cell
biologist throughout the fields of drug discovery and life science
research. I am looking forward to the challenge of expanding Guava's
business in Europe with a strong and focused European team."
Mr.

Based
in Hayward, California, Guava Technologies is a developer, manufacturer
and marketer of proprietary, integrated cellular analysis systems
for the benchtop. The company has revolutionized the way that cell
culture monitoring and cell screening assays are performed, by providing
highly miniaturized microliter scale systems that make common assays
in cell-based analysis accessible at the benchtop. Guava's products
have broad applications to life sciences research, drug discovery
and biopharmaceutical production today, but also offer potential
for use in clinical testing and blood processing, as well as other
areas where single cell analysis is important. More information
