Innovation in glass reaction systems

Radleys have introduced an innovative new V4 zero dead space stopcock for its range of jacketed glass reaction systems.

Designed to enable quick, easy and safe removal the new valve eliminates the cleaning and removal problems associated with traditional stopcock designs. Its zero dead volume format ensures that all the vessel contents are stirred and heated/cooled evenly. The valve, available in 15 or 25mm nominal bore to suit different vessel sizes, is manually operated to open for sampling or removal of contents. Constructed from borosilicate glass, PTFE and FEP encapsulated silicone the new V4 valve offers high chemical resistance and operates over the temperature range -50 to +200ºC. For more demanding applications optional high performance o-ring materials are available.

Drawing upon over 40 years experience in manufacturing a wide range of scientific glassware for a multitude of applications, Radleys has established itself an international reputation for supplying high quality glass reaction vessels and systems.

Whether you require a multi-vessel process system or a single small, bench-top vessel, Radleys experienced team of glass technologists and product specialists have the expertise and knowledge to assist in all aspects of the design and construction. All technical advice and quotations are given free of charge. A large team of highly skilled glassblowers, working under an ISO approved Quality Assurance System, provides the capacity to deal with your urgent projects.

Whilst the combination of different features and design variations for reaction vessel systems is almost limitless, Radleys also offers a range of standard systems from small 250ml bench-top vessels, to large 20 litre floor mounted reactors, making the selection of an appropriate system much easier.
