SciTegic holds 3rd annual Pipeline Pilot user group meeting.

SAN DIEGO, CA February 6, 2004, SciTegic's® Third Annual Pipeline Pilot™ User Group Meeting was held last week in San Diego. Over 65 customers from the U.S. and Western Europe attened the event to hear their colleagues speak about their work with Pipeline Pilot, and to discuss future directions for the product.

The agenda included speakers from industry leading companies like Amgen, Aventis, Dupont Crop Protection, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and 3M Pharmaceuticals. These presentations covered a wide range of topics including cheminformatics applications, HTS data processing, 3rd party tool integration, and deployment strategies. Representatives from MDL and IBM spoke about the recently optimized interactions of their company's products with Pipeline Pilot.

In addition, the forthcoming version 4.0 release of Pipeline Pilot was previewed. The new cross-platform capabilities and enterprise enhancements were discussed along with recent scientific advances. Special sessions included a collaborative workshop session for hands-on group problem solving and forums for discussing bioinformatics and the new Linux platform.
