Genetix, a leading supplier of microarraying instrumentation and supplies, has launched aQu pins - a new range of tungsten microarray pins.

Produced using a proprietary manufacturing technology, aQu pins provide up to 20 million high quality spots per pin reducing the frequency of replacement and cutting the cost of microarraying consumables. aQu pins are available in a selection of pin types and tip diameters and are compatible with all major microarrayer print heads.

With a smoother surface finish than traditional stainless steel products aQu pins reduce contamination from carryover by up to 35%. Manufactured from tungsten the pins also offer higher corrosion resistance and increased operational durability.

Using aQu pins over 600 features can be made from one sample pick with minimal pre-blotting, making your sample go further.
