Scitegic's Pipeline Pilot chosen for cheminformatics applications at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research.

SAN DIEGO, CA January 16, 2004 - SciTegic®, Inc. today announced the sale and installation of Pipeline Pilot™, to Novartis Pharma AG for use by researchers in the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). The Pipeline Pilot software system employs a novel approach to processing drug discovery data through flexible automated pipelines for faster data processing and analysis. The result of a collaborative licensing agreement, Pipeline Pilot is now being used by NIBR scientists around the world to accelerate their drug discovery research.
