Genevac Ltd, leader in solvent evaporation technology, has announced a new line of sample holders for its popular EZ-2 solvent evaporator. The new holders are specifically designed to take a variety of round bottom flasks ranging from 25ml up to 500ml.

Genevac Ltd, leader in solvent evaporation technology, has announced a new line of sample holders for its popular EZ-2 solvent evaporator.

The new holders are specifically designed to take a variety of round bottom flasks ranging from 25ml up to 500ml. Ingenious sample holder design has allowed the compact, benchtop EZ-2 to accommodate up to six 100ml flasks simultaneously. With larger flasks, a total capacity of 1 litre is possible, for example 4 x 250ml or 2 x 500ml.

Research has shown that customers use their EZ-2 units in various ways, but one of the most popular is as an alternative to a rotary evaporator. The new EZ-2 flask holders allow users to evaporate large volumes, as they would on a rotary evaporator, but with the added sample protection and safety features afforded by the EZ-2.

Incorporating the latest centrifugal evaporation technology in a compact and easy-to-use benchtop model, the EZ-2 is priced to be affordable by almost any laboratory. Years of experience in solvent evaporation and sample purification have allowed Genevac to produce a high-efficiency sample concentrator that delivers high performance, ease of use, high reliability, and compatibility with most commonly used solvents and acids.

The new EZ-2 flask holder range will be on display at International Biotech in London and Het Instrument in Utrecht this Autumn.
