Tecan Europe has launched Freedom EVO 75, a compact robotic pipetting system targeted at laboratories looking to automate medium throughput liquid handling procedures in genomics, proteomics and drug discovery applications.

Freedom EVO 75's compact bench-top size makes it a perfect solution for laboratories where space is limited. It uses the same software and major mechanical and electronic components as the larger members of the Freedom EVO family thereby providing the same superior liquid handling performance, reliability and flexibility.

The Freedom EVO 75 supports fixed tips as well as disposable tips. Controlled by EVOware® software the system provides an unrivalled combination of flexibility and ease of use for beginners and experts alike. EVOware makes the setting-up of complex multi-device schedules easy and efficient and offers the flexibility to control Freedom EVO platforms with Tecan devices for detection, separation, plate handling and storage as well as other third party devices.

Through the open and flexible design of the Freedom EVO 75, scientists can easily implement new technologies by adapting and expanding their systems to meet their changing needs. This makes the Freedom EVO 75 both a reliable solution for liquid handling as well as a good long-term investment.

With the new Freedom EVO 75, Tecan offers liquid handling systems with deck sizes ranging from 75 up to 200cm. Carriers, racks, detection devices and washers can be easily integrated into the Freedom EVO family to provide the optimal configuration to automate any laboratory procedure.
