Genevac,
market leaders in solvent removal technology, have reported widespread
positive feedback from the first wave of users of their HT-24 Evaporation
Workstation.

Targeted
at high throughput organic synthesis and purification laboratories
in the pharmaceutical industry and contract research companies -
worldwide sales of the HT-24 have exceeded expectations in the 18
months since its launch.
Reflecting
upon this success Steve Knight (Marketing Manager) commented 'Organic
synthesis and purification labs are a tight knit community. The
early users of the HT-24 have openly welcomed the high capacity,
excellent performance and operational flexibility the system has
delivered'. He added 'As a consequence existing users of Genevac
HT-8 and HT-12 instruments as well as competitive instruments such
as the SpeedVac have traded up to the operational and productivity
benefits the HT-24 provides'.
The
high-throughput design of the HT-24 provides capacity for up to
96 shallow-well microplates to be dried down at the same time, whilst
capacity for standard 16 x 100mm fraction collector tubes is an
outstanding 576 tubes per run. Using the HT-24 a chemist is able
to evaporate two different solvents simultaneously, significantly
speeding sample drying in busy laboratories. Compact in design and
offering a very high capacity for a wide range of sample formats
including microplates, tubes, vials, fraction collector racks and
Genevac's hybrid HPLC blocks the HT-24 offers the versatility and
productivity to assist chemists in a high-throughput environments.
