For high throughput environments, the TriSeal is an automated plate sealer that can produce an accurate and tight seal on any SBS proposed standard plate from 5 to 47 mm in height. Incorporating a unique turntable design, which allows simultaneous loading, unloading and sealing the TriSeal achieves an average rate of 12 plates per minute. A plate sealing productivity double the rate of competing machines. Intuitive and simple control of the system is provided by a portable keypad / display unit that allows user definable settings to be saved and recalled for later use. Pneumatically operated the TriSeal requires only compressed air and mains voltage for routine high-throughput operation.

Where a laboratory needs the versatility to be able to seal a range of different sample storage formats the Thermobond® heat sealer is the product of choice. The Thermobond® been designed to seal polypropylene Deep Well Plates, PCR Plates, Microtitre Plates and Polystyrene Tubes with a specially prepared pierceable film or foil, which prevents sample evaporation and leakage during storage and transportation.

To compliment its popular plate sealers, Porvair Sciences offers an extensive range of adhesive and thermal sealing films and foils. Porvair sealing films and foils offer a convenient and effective method for sealing 24-, 48-, 96-, 384- and 1536-well microplates.
