IDBS
renews participation in SAFE-BioPharma Association’s Vendor Partner
Program.
Guildford,
UK, 11 July 2007 – IDBS, a leading Electronic Laboratory Notebook
(ELN) provider, today announced it has renewed its participation
in the SAFE-BioPharma Association Vendor Partner Program. SAFE creates
and manages the SAFE™ digital identity and digital signature standard
used within the pharmaceutical industry.
IDBS
was the first Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) vendor to join the SAFE
Vendor Partner Program when it adopted the SAFE standard in 2006
as part of its E-WorkBook Suite. The company integrated the SAFE
standard into its E-WorkBook Suite allowing scientists and others
in the life science industry to capture, protect and exchange research
data in a secure and compliant environment.
“IDBS
is proud to be working with SAFE to provide an industry-leading
ELN solution,” commented Neil Kipling, founder and CEO of IDBS.
"Pharmaceutical companies are increasingly demanding robust,
externally validated systems to deliver regulatory compliance and
IP protection. IDBS has taken the lead in meeting this need through
the implementation of the SAFE standard into the E-WorkBook Suite.”
"We
are delighted that IDBS is reaffirming its commitment to the SAFE
Vendor Partner Program,” said Mollie Shields-Uehling, president
and CEO of SAFE-BioPharma Association. "IDBS is a valued participant
